Implant in Upper Right Molar Failed: Chance of Success with new Implant?
Last Updated: Nov 18, 2013
I am 57 years old. Nine years ago, I had a successful dental implant in the upper right 6 first molar. About one month ago, the gum above the implant started bothering me. I just went to the dentist and they told me to have it removed and a new bone graft done so I could have another implant put in. What are the chances that the second one will last more than 10 years? does it make sense to do it?
