AnyRidge Implants: Replacement of Upper Left Molars
This video shows the replacement of maxillary upper left molars with Megagen AnyRidge Implants. Prior to placement of the 5X7 fixture, an internal sinus lift was performed. After 3 months, the tooth was exposed and an ISQ value was recorded to determine osseointegration. AnyRidge implants, have a unique knife thread design, that provides excellent initial stability even at compromised bone density. The fixture cuts thru bone smoothly and condenses it simultaneously. If you have placed AnyRidge Implants, what has been your experience with the system?

Interesting prosthesis. As it is not possible to splint those crowns in a screw retained way you thought of this alternative. I personally don't think it's a good choice in a bio-mechanical way as you have close to zero movement in the first molar due to the morse cone and a LOT of movement (at least +/- 20 microns that corresponds to the crown abutment threshold) in the second molar. Even cementing seems wrong to me in a bio-mechanical way. Similar to splinting a tooth abutment to a implant abutment.
Would love to hear your thoughts on this as I am not keen on using the synocta/multiunit abutments to splint crowns using anyridge implants.
