Predictable Augmentation Procedures of Soft and Hard Tissues

In this lecture, Dr. Daniel Rothamel discusses Augmentation Procedures of Soft and Hard Tissues using Biomaterials showing that different techniques allow for predictable bone defect augmentation. Furthermore, beside autogenous bone, bone substitute materials show reliable results for regeneration of localized lateral defects/sinus floor elevations. The success of these substitute materials is improved when they are combined with the use of membranes. Stabilization techniques also serve to increase the predictability of the graft.
